Opkalla named among best workplaces for values-driven, employee-focused culture.
Charlotte, NC, May 10, 2022 – Opkalla has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual Best Workplaces list. Featured in the May/June 2022 issue, hitting newsstands on May 17, 2022, and prominently featured on Inc.com, the list is the result of a comprehensive measurement of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture, whether operating in a physical or virtual facility.
Opkalla was selected as a Best Workplace due to its values-first culture, focused on trust, transparency, being agnostic, convenience and speed. Building off this, Opkalla emphasizes the importance of everyone on the team setting and achieving personal, professional and financial goals, with team-wide accountability and encouragement built into the mix. Last year alone, the team of nine at the time achieved more than 30 of these substantial goals. Other components of Opkalla’s strong culture include a flexible work environment, with remote work capabilities and unlimited PTO. Employees also benefit from a free gym membership and abundant opportunities for career development and volunteering.
After collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. selected 475 honorees this year. Each company that was nominated took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, and overall company culture. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking.
“Being selected as an honoree for Inc.’s Best Workplaces list is a testament to the effectiveness of our team’s mindset on building culture,” Aaron Bock, Opkalla Managing Partner says. “When you show your employees daily how greatly they are valued, everything else falls into place. We are incredibly proud of our team, and it’s a privilege getting to help them grow and improve themselves beyond Opkalla’s business goals.”
“Not long ago, the term ‘best workplace’ would have conjured up images of open-office designs with stocked snack fridges,” Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk says. “Yet given the widespread adoption of remote work, the concept of the workplace has shifted. This year, Inc. has recognized the organizations dedicated to redefining and enriching the workplace in the face of the pandemic.”
